Hengjian strategically invests in shares to help HEC take off

On February 2, 2021, HEC Group and Guangdong Hengjian Investment Holding Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guangdong Hengjian") formally reached a strategic cooperation. Guangdong Hengjian strategically invested in Sunshine Lake Pharma Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Sunshine Lake Pharma” through its Guangdong Advanced Manufacturing Fund with an investment amount of RMB 600 million and has completed the industrial and commercial change and payment procedures. This time, Guangdong Hengjian, as one of the cornerstone investors and leading investors, actively participated in this round of financing of Sunshine Lake Pharma by introducing strategic investors, which shows Guangdong Hengjian's high recognition of Sunshine Lake Pharma's strength, value and future development. This marks a major progress in the introduction and securitization work of TOC Research.
The drug research and development platform of HEC Group, Sunshine Lake Pharma is committed to the global development and commercialization of innovative small molecule drugs, innovative biological drugs and similar drugs, as well as first generic drugs and innovative preparations. It has a national key laboratory of anti-infection new drug development certified by the Ministry of Science and Technology. The key laboratory undertakes the research and development of a number of major national special projects. It has applied for more than 1,500 patents and has applied for more than 400 foreign patents. It has international R&D and clinical advancement capabilities, drug registration capabilities and intellectual property distribution capabilities. It is located in the first echelon of the domestic pharmaceutical R&D industry, with strong R&D strength and a prominent position in the industry.
