On October 6, at Dinglanjun Shangyunli Hotel in Hangzhou, HEC Group officially signed a contract with Zhejiang Guangsha Basketball Club. HEC Group named Zhejiang Guangsha Men’s Basketball Team, an old strong team of CBA. In the new season, the first team of Zhejiang Guangsha Basketball Club will take Zhejiang HEC as the team name to compete in the 2022-2023 CBA league. At the same time, in order to prepare for the home and away match system that may be restored in the second stage of this season with the permission of prevention and control, Zhejiang HEC Team also completed the signing ceremony with the new home court – the Yellow Dragon Sports Center.
On the day of the event, relevant leaders of Zhejiang Provincial Sports Bureau, Dongyang Municipal Party Committee and Government, HEC Group, Guangsha Holding Group and Yellow Dragon Sports Center all attended the signing ceremony. After the signing ceremony, Miao Shoushou, General Manager of Zhejiang Guangsha Basketball Club, and Shen Bin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Zhejiang Yellow Dragon Sports Center jointly signed a contract on matters related to the new home. The first team of Zhejiang Guangsha Basketball Club, as an old team fighting in CBA league, has taken root in Hangzhou for many years with stable results, and has great box office appeal in Hangzhou. After the transformation of the Asian Games, the Yellow Dragon Sports Center is one of the venues with the heaviest competition task and the largest scale for the Hangzhou Asian Games. Through the systematic business planning, a new era sports complex of “sports oriented and comprehensive supporting” has been preliminarily formed. This cooperation is also based on mutual recognition of the strength of both sides.
